Oregon's Rogue Valley

We were seriously considering a move to Medford, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley late last year and decided that before we could move there we needed to go see some of the towns, the neighborhoods, houses, etc.

We had been through once before on our Crater Lake Trip and thought it was beautiful. So we planned a trip over Ty's birthday to check it out!

This was the suite we stayed in in Ashland.

Kate playing on the balcony.

The beautiful view from our balcony.

An AWESOME pic of Ty devouring his sushi!! Birthday dinner.

Yum!!
The next day we decided to drive to the coast. This was a little stop on the way.

Remember this is December 20th! Eveything is so green.

We took a bit of a wrong turn and ended up seeing this amazing waterfall just on the side of the road!

Kate was determined to get to the top with Ty.

Life is hard as a 2 year old!

This is the first sign we saw...no biggie.

This was about 50 feet up the road. We just thought it was hilarious!!

And then the road closed sign!
Dang!

Since we were all starving by then we stopped in Grants Pass for lunch at the Laughing Clam.

We never made it to the coast, but headed to the kids museum instead. Kate was asleep in the car so Josie and I stayed and played while the rest napped.

The next day Kate and I took a nap after church while Josie and Ty explored Lithia Park.

And of course more jumping on the bed.

We had a wonderful time, but it was a whirlwind trip and we were all in need of another vacation once we got home!

P.S. We also decided we couldn't live the same lifestyle we have now if we were to move to Medford. Oh well, now we know! But it's still beautiful!
