Spring Break 2008

Ty and I spent all week in Oregon and Northern California for a little bit different twist on spring break this year. We've always gone somewhere warm, like Arizona, Joshua Tree Nat'l Park (southern CA), San Diego and the Grand Canyon.

Well this year we decided we were tough enough to hang out in the snow and the rain for a whole extra week...what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? :) J/K. It was really a lot of fun. We brought the dogs along and hiked all over the pacific northwest.

This was one of the most spontaneous, wet, fun and exciting trips we've ever taken.
Our stops included but weren't limited to: Oregon: Bend, La Pine State Park, Crater Lake, Brookings, Grant's Pass, Summer Lake Hot Springs, and Paisley. Nor Cal: Redwoods, Smith River Rec Area, and Crescent City.

  1. Yeah, he was growing it out (but just a little) so he would be warmer on our trip. We 2 days before we left we was bored and shaved it all off! Like without any attachment just the clippers. Moral of the Story: Don't leave Ty home alone when he's bored. :)

  2. Nice waterfalls! Awesome lighthouse! Why does Ty not wear a hat in the snow and then wears a hat and a hood at the beach? Gotta wonder about that guy ...
